Kam Lee performed the entire From Beyond album at the A Day of Death Festival in Williamsville, NY on July 16th, 2011.
The band started as a power/heavy/speed metal band playing cover songs until Kam Lee and Allen West joined, upon which, they converted their style to death metal. Kam Lee is considered an influential innovator in extreme vocals: many credit him as inventing the characteristic "death growl" (which is first heard on Massacre's 1986' "Aggressive Tyrant" demo).
Massacre reunited for "The-Re-Animated" tour in fall 2007, the band split up and reformed multiple times between this period and late 2008. In early 2009 Kam Lee stated he would attempt to resurrect Massacre again and release an album in 2010, but once again claimed to shelve the band in May 2009 via a message on the band's Myspace page.
In early 2000, at least two projects were announced by Kam. The first band was Cadaverizer, where he played together with a couple of Funebrarum guys. Cadaverizer split up, before recording anything. The second project was called Kauldron. Kam Lee was the only known member. They only recorded a cover of Destruction's "Bestial Invasion" for the Dwell Records compilation Armageddon: The Tribute to Destruction.
Kam Lee and Rick Rozz band attempted to reform the band in 2016 as Massacre X but because of legal and trademark issues they could not use the Massacre name. They chose instead to carry on as Gods of Death.
